Even though I studied history in my schooldays, I  don’t remember much of that. My history teacher was not pleased with me because my performance in the term exams was poor.
After every exam, she asked us to copy the correct answer from the text book ten times if we had failed to answer any question correctly.
One such question was related to Industrial revolution... I hated doing that assignment then, but I still remember something about that period in History.
The Industrial Revolution took place in Britain and other parts of Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries.
At first, it was a Revolution in the manufacturing sector. Powered Machines made production easier. Mass production was made possible in many industries, especially in the textile industry. This generated thousands of job opportunities. This attracted villagers to the cities in large numbers. Although it created a lot of social problems, Industrial revolution changed everything about our society completely. Millions   suffered … Yet, it was the greatest revolution in human history prior to the internet revolution.
